Club members and guests,

CCMG June Club Run on Saturday the 21st, going up Strawberry to Caple's Lake View. We will be meeting at Joanie's Cafe & Grill - 4064 Mother Lode Drive, Shingle Springs, CA. 95682.  (530) 672-1904.

  Breakfast at 8:00 am, leaving at 9:00 am.  Joanie's is located  after the signal light coming straight off the Freeway exit on the right side, just pass the car dealership.  (As if you were going to the Train Station Restaurant). There is plenty of parking, with more in the back.

It will be a one day trip.  Time permitting, we will go up Strawberry to Caple's Lake View, and turn around and head back down Strawberry to Hwy. 50.  If the decision is made that it is getting to late, we will only go one way and continue to Highway 88, to Iron Mountain Road, to Hwy. 50.

This trail has great views of the mountains and lakes, and a couple of challenging areas that slightly modified vehicles would be capable of doing.  I would not recommend stock SUV's, as that damage could be likely.
